What is Expressive Arts?

It is a process in which art modalities such as visual arts, movement/dance, creative writing, and music etc., are used to bring  about a spontaneous creative expression in individuals, enhancing personal awareness, growth and healing.

"The creative process puts us in touch with our soul, our spirit, our inner wisdom. Self-expression through the creative arts – movement, art, music, and writing – is a sacred and often mystical experience, transforming pain, anger, fear, and grief into forms that nourish the soul."   ~Natalie Rogers~
